Pool Talk - Everything from CL to PH

Hi,  My name is Jade Masters and I have been involved in the swimming pool industry for over two decades. From the Pool Talk platform I endeavour to arm you with everything you need to know about your pool.  From How to's to detailed instruction videos and articles on how to repair your pool pump or setup your new automation system I intend to document the information which is in my brain on every type of digital platform that I have at my disposal.  

The Structure

With article blogs and digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and You Tube I intend to create information articles and instructional videos on day to day problems which may arise while looking after both commercial and domestic swimming pools.  The three main categories that I wish to tackle are from different perspectivs from the industry.  They are.........

From Behind the Counter: - From behind the counter I have been asked almost every question you could be asked from the novice to the self proclaimed pool professional (because their parents had a pool when they were growing up) from "Why don't I have any chlorine in my water?" to "How much friction loss do I get from a 50mm suction line pipe with 7 x 90 degree elbows over a 15m run and a 1.2m lift?........In saying that,  from "Behind the Counter" I will answer as many of these pool voodoo questions I can in an blog style format with some video's on some of the best received articles in the future.  I will also do some pool product reviews and information sessions on pool pumps, pool cleaners, pool heaters, pool filters and pool side accessories as if you were a customer on the other side of the counter. 

On the workbench:- From the workbench will be information for the DIY handyman types who are destined to spend countless man hours saving a few dollars just to say that they have conquored the unconquorable.  From simple pool cleaner repairs to in depth videos on how to bring your favourite saltwater chlorinator (because everybody has one of those) back to life this DIY guide to Pool equipment repairs and FAQ's will keep you entertained for hours. 

Poolside confessions:- Ever Flocced a Pool? ....... That's right I said Flocced! With many years of onsite pool cleaning, maintenance and pool equipment repairs under my belt I give you a sneak peak by way of how to's, tips n tricks and insights into the super rock-star lifestyle of the modern pool man.  From fault finding your suction pool cleaner to installing a brand new filtration system I will have you buying a ute and telepole to join the myriad of pool cleaners that traverse our industry every year.  Just kidding....you should however get a good grounding in how to care for your pool in an informative fun way. i will also do some pool cleaner demonstrations as well as onsite pool repairs and nasty algae workshops. 

Such questions like "What pool heater should I buy?", "How do I know if my pool is leaking?", "why has my pool pump stopped pumping?",  "Which pool cleaner to buy, Robot or mechanical?" "Why is my pool always cloudy?" or "how come I don't have any chlorine in my pool?"  are common and require some definitive answers. This I will do and a whole lot more.
