Unlike self cleaning chlorinators standard salt water chlorinators produce a build up of calcium
on the electrode (salt Cell) as it produces chlorine. This calcium build up is a by product of
chlorine production and requires cleaning in a salt cell cleaning solution as often as every two
weeks in the summer time.  This cleaning process can be a bit of a hassle if you lead a busy
lifestyle and are time poor.
